How Do AI Credits Work in Photomyne?

Photomyne AI credits let you restore old or damaged photos with AI Restore and bring still photos to life with Magic Motion. Credits are purchased separately from your Photomyne membership, with different packs available depending on your needs.

*Note for Android users: AI features are currently available on a pay-per-use basis rather than through credit packs.

Why does Photomyne use AI credits?

Photomyne uses advanced AI technologies, including Google AI, to power features like photo restoration and animation. Each time these features run, they require additional processing, which comes at a cost. That's why AI credits are purchased separately from your Photomyne membership.

Why are credit packs useful?

AI technology is constantly improving, and results may vary depending on the photo. Sometimes, it takes more than one attempt to get the result you're hoping for.

Credit packs give you the flexibility to experiment and try again, without having to make a separate purchase each time. With larger packs costing just a few cents per credit, you have more freedom to explore different results and find what works best for your photos.

How much do Photomyne AI credits cost?

Photomyne offers several credit packs:

  • 20 credits – $3.99 ($0.20 per credit)
  • 100 credits – $5.99 ($0.06 per credit)
  • 500 credits – $14.99 ($0.03 per credit)
  • 1,000 credits – $19.99 ($0.02 per credit)
  • Unlimited credits – $35.99 (No per-credit cost)

The larger the pack, the lower the cost per credit, with savings of up to 90% compared to the smallest pack.

Good to know:

  • AI results may vary. The quality of the original photo and the AI tool used can affect the final result.
  • Choose the pack that fits your project. Smaller packs are great for occasional enhancements, while larger packs offer better value for experimenting or working on bigger photo collections.
